Client Care

Samaritan provides a variety of non-medical home care services to our clients.

Personal Care

  • Provide care as described in Plan of Care

  • Record all care as it is delivered or refused

  • Ensure privacy of client when providing personal care

  • Encourage proper posture and movements

  • Monitor and record sleep patterns


  • Understand client’s nutritional needs and restrictions

  • Record and report any issues with eating or hydration

  • Monitor refrigerator for expired foods

  • Ensure that food is accessible

  • Encourage healthy choices


  • Provide homemaker services in accordance with Plan of Care

  • Have client assist when able

  • Use only client approved products

  • Avoid products with harsh chemicals or strong odor


  • All drivers must have valid drivers license & adequate insurance

  • Choice of vehicle is determined prior to commencement of service

  • Only transport in compliance with Plan of Care

  • Mileage is reimbursed to employee and charged to client
